Our signature events highlight Adams Morgan’s vibrant culture and history. Known for its rich diversity and creative, entrepreneurial spirit, the neighborhood reflects the values that have shaped our nation. Through live performances, local art and unique flavors, join us in Adams Morgan to celebrate this iconic neighborhood’s legacy and its connection to 250 years of American progress and community.

Adams Morgan Spring and Fall PorchFest

With over 100 bands, this event showcases some of DC’s best local musical talent featuring nearly every musical genre. Twenty-five porches, business patios, parks, and the closed 18th Street will become stages for the day, drawing music-lovers from around the region into the tree-lined streets and small businesses of Adams Morgan. This event has grown to more than 50,000 people for each event.

Adams Morgan Movie Nights

We are thrilled to announce the return of the award-winning, six-week movie series: Adams Morgan Movie Nights. Enjoy free movies every Tuesday evening from late May through June at the Marie Reed Elementary School Soccer Field at 18th Street NW and California Street NW. Movies kick off just after sunset at approximately 9 p.m. and attendees are encouraged to arrive early to get a prime spot on the field with tiered, amphitheater-style seating. Dinner meal deals are available each night at our local restaurants to bring to the field.

AdMo Art Walk

Co-partnering with The DC Arts Center, the ADMO Art Walk is a free way to experience art in April. Every year, local businesses in Adams Morgan are partnered with local DC artists who are invited to display their work all month long in the business’ storefront windows. The result is a neighborhood-wide public art exhibition where Adams Morgan becomes your art gallery.

AdMo Vibe concerts

AdMo Vibe is a series of free outdoor concerts held Wednesdays in August in Kalorama Park along Columbia Road in Adams Morgan. Featuring local musicians playing a variety of genres, it’s perfect for a family night, date night, or relaxing solo outing. Bring takeout from nearby restaurants, enjoy the music with neighbors and friends, and explore local shops and boutiques steps away from the park.

Adams Morgan Apple Festival and Apple Pie Baking Contest

Celebrate America’s favorite dessert at the Adams Morgan Apple Festival and Apple Pie Baking Contest, where community and tradition come together. This family-friendly event highlights the timeless charm of apple pie with tastings, a baking contest and more. Don’t miss this sweet celebration of a beloved classic that’s as American as well, apple pie of course.
